Activity 5 - 20 minutes


Time to spread the news on how to stop Dengue Fever!

Tell your friends or relatives the following

a. What is dengue fever?

b. How is it transmitted?

c. What are Aedes Mosquitos and where do they commonly breed?

d. What can we do to stop the breeding of Aedes Mosquitos?

Here is what you have to do.

1. Create a simple Powerpoint slideshow (about 4 slides) and attach it in an email which you will send out to your friends or relatives. (Note: you can send to more than one recipient)


2. Write a postcard to a friend or a relative.


The campaign does not stop here! Spread the news to as many people as you can about the dangers of dengue and how to protect themselves.


Remember: If they breed, you will bleed!
