Exploring shadows
Activity 2 - (10 minutes)
Shadow in Art
Shadows create fascinating pictures on their own, and they also are beautiful when paired with their parent object.
Look at the pictures taken by some photographers who are particularly interested in focusing shadows as their subject.

LOL you jeremy
oh yes it is.
My answers are,
1. A shadow is a space where light cannot reach.
2. Move the light source further away from the object.
3. When the light source is directly above the object.
I hope all of my answers are correct (Although I can't really memorise whether when you move the light source nearer to the object doews it get bigger or smaller or longer or shorter.) Anyway, I really, really still prefer the old method but I enjoy watching the vidoes that you post on the blog. Especially the funny comments like Sugu posted yesterday. I wish I can live near a volcano so I can die faster. Then I won't need to do PSLE! Ha ha.LOL!! :D

1. What happens when the torch
a. is move towards the battery?
b. is move away from the battery?
The shadow becomes bigger when the object is near the light source.
The shadow becomes smaller when it is away from the light source.
Jasmine, you are right.
Vanessa, Thank you for your kind comments.
Btw, who is Mel? And you should take a look at the second video about the multiple shadows to understand your question.
